The government calls it \u201cdecolonization\u201d and \u201creclaiming indigenous heritage.\u201d Critics call it the saffron erasure of India\u2019s pluralistic past \u2013 a systematic effort to replace Muslim and colonial names with Hindu-centric ones, reshaping collective memory one signboard at a time.
